I'm biased towards Rita, but I think she's wonderful at enemy management.

He is good at flexing but I would not trust him to be the main monster killer in my party. You don't need 5 in combat when you auto succeed every turn (guardian + survivor is broken for bless decks).Ĭalvin can't be A : too fragile early on, too much setup. He also is the best user of the Holy Spear, arguably with a better bless deck than Sister Mary. Unkillable, good economy, very strong weapon in Becky.

And they keep printing cards that are so good for him. He is very straightforward and focused (or narrow) but an absolute killing machine. He's very good, but not on the level of Tony and Mark I feel. But when it comes to killing things fast and reliably, he is not the best.

Yorick is basically impossible to kill, is very flexible in his deck building with some powerful combos. I’ll be uploading the other half of this tier list (really more like other 2/3 going by investigator count) tomorrow. This is just my best attempt at ranking the power levels of the investigators as I understand them now. My tier list has changed a lot over the past 3 months, and if I’m still making tier lists at the end of 2022, there will be a lot of changes by then even if the cardpool has only minimally changed. My experience is too limited, and my perceptions of what is and isn’t optimal are too easily wrong. My list isn’t going to be objective, try as I might to get there. What I’m attempting to rate, a strict power rankings of optimal decklists, could be an objective thing. Each character only gets ranked once, and there were only a couple hard calls as to which list they went to. Almost all flex characters are clearly more cluever than fighter, or vice versa, and go into the corresponding tier list.

So for all the flex characters, I’ve looked at how I would play them, and put them into the tier list that they lean closer to. Where do I put flex characters then? Well, I rank the characters according to what I view their optimal build/playstyle is, not a general power level. I’ve split it up into two tier lists as I don’t feel Fighters and Cluevers can be meaningfully compared to one another. My tier list is an attempt at a power ranking of the investigators according to how they perform in 2/3 player multiplayer, standard difficulty, with the taboo list. I’ve been playing Arkham for nearly a year now, and competitive card games for the past decade. I figured I’d throw my hat into the ring with a yearend tier list. For anyone who doesn’t have time for the video version, here’s a screenshot of my final tier list.
